Visiting St Therese in Leeds

NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED TO VISIT THE RELICS

Some spaces are reserved at the opening liturgy for parish representatives but everyone is welcome to the events over the weekend

New Revised Full Timetable for the Weekend

We look forward to welcoming you to Leeds Cathedral in October 2009 to venerate the relics of St Therese of Lisieux. If you are planning to bring a group of more than 5 people, please would you inform Fr Michael McLaughin at Leeds Cathedral of the number in your group and the day and time when you intend to visit.

PLEASE NOTE:

Apart from the times of the Liturgies and Masses, the timings shown here for veneration of the relics are approximate. Public veneration of the relics will begin once the Liturgies and Masses have finished and the Cathedral is prepared.Public veneration will cease before the Liturgies and Masses in order to prepare the Cathedral.There will be priority disabled access for those who need it which will avoid the main queue and bring people directly into the immediate queue for veneration. There may be general queuing to venerate the relics and this may extend outside the Cathedral. There will be no immediate parking outside the Cathedral, but there will be places to drop off and pick up nearby. Details of car parking in Leeds are given on the website.Every parish in the diocese will be sent tickets for 3 representatives to participate in the opening liturgy. They must be seated by 2.00pm. Then anyone else waiting will be given access to the Cathedral.For the closing liturgy, seating will be reserved until 9.00 am for representatives from diocesan schools and then open to anyone else.
